* we're guessing that someone must have kept him... coz he's very friendly & he loves to 'chat' wif other dogs near the gate (probably the owner will let him in) and he might follow strangers too... if u ever spot him wandering ard ur neighbourhood, in the parks, or even in ur neighbours' house, pls notify me asap!!! thx

mama's 52nd bday v.1

sry to bore u wif my previous full-text blog entrées.. halloween's over (didnt celebrate, juz played "cho dai dee" @ calvin's place wif sin + tony, woohooo!), and we didnt take any pics tho.... until last sat (7 nov), we've finally took some pics at my mama's chinese bday celebration @ 旺记 kepong wif her frenz ^^

think pink

it was breast cancer month last month, and pink ribbon day is the 4th monday in oct.... obtained this informational brochure from estée lauder's breast cancer awareness campaign and i tried to perform a breast self-examination according to the instructions, a couple of days ago... and i was freaking scared when i felt something...

initially, i wanted to wait for serena and my mom to go for a mammogram together... but after i felt that lil' lump on my right boobie, i decided to go for a thorough checkup today... so i went for my first ultrasound, all by myself!!! *brave smile*

i was freaking myself out.. couldnt sleep well for the last 2 dayz zzz...

this morning, the female doc said that i was too young for a mammogram (which is suitable for women with a family history of breast cancer or 35 yrs old & above), and she suggested that i do an ultrasound instead.. she told me that's it's pretty normal to have fibrocystic breast lump or it's just a cyst or something, it might not necessarily b cancerous.... and finally, "no focal mass lesion noted", "no architectural distortion seen", "no enlarged axillary nodes seen", "normal calibre of axillary vessels", "no abnormality detected".....YAY!!! and, another issue that has been bothering me for yrs is that i've been suspecting that i might have a swollen lymph node or something under my right axilla, esp before my monthly menses... and doc told me that there's actually some breast tissue, and she even told me that some women might even have a third nipple! but mine's pretty small, and without a third nipple of coz hehe... ie. "accessory breast in right axilla", "no abnormality detected" YAY!!! *phew*

so galz, when u check ur boobies, remember to check from ur collar bone downwards & dont forget ur armpits too! and u shud start checking ur boobies every month after ur menses "think pink"!!! (^)(^) <--- happy boobies

lou's blog is de-mushroomed

juz found out that lou has updated her blog... and all i wanted to do is to write "read lou's blog" for our prawn fishing event! hahaha... ok my blog entrées (beijing trip, my bday, kc gathering, prawning etc) are all in drafts lolx... coz the pics were not resized or photoshopped yet zzz... argh lazy me!

anywayz, just got bck from dinner at pasta zanmai, wif calvin's mama, grandma, aunt, and 2 lil cousins! weeee... had so much fun skipping the gym today and eating my fav unagi pizza ^^

ok 10 more minutes to 12am... i've been a good gal since monday nite (was exhausted after our kuantan day trip) ... gtg to bed before 12am again tonite... wil try not to break the good routine (until weekend comes at least) hehehe... g'nite all :D

runaway rambo v.3

(27 oct): calvin rang me up at 9am+, telling me that his dumbass maid opened the gate and let rambo ran off while calvin was at work... i think she did it on purpose... calvin was very sure that the gate was closed before he left for work, and at 9am his sister saw the gate was left open zzz... calvin's dad went to work way earlier so it wasnt him, and calvin's mom wont open the gate unless she has customers, but there werent any customers early in the morning... so it must be the maid! and last week when rambo ran off she didnt even seem to care, she kept saying "tak tau, tak tau"... (argh feels like strangling her)! when calvin questioned her, she'll just say that she didnt know about it zzz...

calvin's family treat her well and she has been there before rambo arrived, and all the while she doesnt have to take care of rambo, calvin and i bathe rambo and we feed him, or sometimes his sisters will help, and rambo pees and poos outside, so i really dont understand what makes her open the gate and let the poor dog outta the house... (yea yea, calvin told me that her contract will expire soon) and recently she has been stealing things like calvin's mama's RM500 cash from the drawer, and do all sorts of weird stuff....... those kind of inhumane ppl like her shud be left in the woods, juz like how she let rambo out in the 'wild'!

calvin rushed bck to search for rambo... i was still in a meeting and damn, i couldnt concentrate at all! i was really worried abt rambo, not sure if he knows how to cross the roads or watever... luckily, by 11am+ calvin called me and said that he found rambo at someone's house... *phew*

juz pray that she wont let rambo out again before she leaves nx month!

runaway rambo v.2

juz realized that i've actually blogged abt rambo's escape quite some time ago, titled "runaway rambo"... so this post has gotta be "v.2"

anywayz, am really exhausted now... calvin and i were both attending this IT conference @ midv, and his mama called him during lunch time (ard 1.30pm) and told him that rambo was missing (since 12pm++).... in fact, calvin's mama's customer didnt close the door properly and he muz have gotten out at that time... so we quickly rushed outta midv and searched for rambo all over area ard calvin's house... and it was rainning quite heavily in the afternoon, which made it more difficult for us to spot him T_T

went bck to calvin's place to print out some missing dog notices, went to put them up at a few nearby petshops, and at a few other places such as the salon that calvin visits (coz the owner is a dog lover too), and we even gave one notice to the guy selling doggies at pasar malam... we cont to search for rambo all over the neighbourhood, tried to ask some of the neighbours esp those wif doggies (rambo loves to make new frens)... walked ard the parks, squeezing his fav green ball hoping that he wil hear the sound... but stil, no sign of him...

we went home... i was telling myself, as long as we dont see his corpse, he shud be somewhere, hopefully he's wif a nice family or something... we were praying real hard that he wasnt knocked down by cars or being bullied by some tramps or something.... calvin took a nap, and he was trying to comfort me when he woke up, "我们一定可以找回他的，他0酱乖，一定可以的啦", it's really nice of him to cheer me up even tho he muz have been really sad himself... i thot i was going insane, i kept hearing dogs barking and i hope the dogs were trying to notify me that rambo is back... but stil, no sign of him....

it was abt 8.45pm, so we went to pasar malam to buy some food... we were walking, stil squeezing his green ball along the way... juz when i was abt to give up and go home, i spotted a shadow inside one of the houses nearby, it does look like rambo... as we walked closer, the shadow started jumping ard behind the curtains... and it is rambo!!! hurray we've found him!!! a small boy was so surprised that we came, and he went upstairs to tell his mama... thank god they kept him safe and sound, the woman told me that i was lucky, we might not be able to spot rambo if she wasnt showering upstairs, coz rambo has been sitting on the sofa wif her while she was watching tv (seems like rambo has been enjoying quite a bit, 都真的几会享受 zzzz)...... rambo seemed sooo happy when we found him... i think he didnt know that he scared the hell outta us!!! i think he was trying to tell us "i've been eating koko crunch all day!" zzzz (i saw some leftovers at the dog bowl on the floor).... anywayz, so glad that we've finally found him! *phew*

no more koko crunch for u naughty dog!!!

mid autumn fest '09

mid autumn fest is here again... hurrah!


(above): mama bought this abnormally large mooncake from 美心 hong kong...

my relatives from melaka were here and it was great fun eating mooncakes wif my lil' cousin yan yan! i'm not a big fan of mooncakes really, and i dont crave for them... but mama bought some real cute ones from 美心 hk too, esp those snow skin mooncakes wif weird flavors such as tiramisu, rocky road, crunchy strawberry etc... nice! (yes i lov weird stuff, i dont like the original-flavoured mooncakes coz they're too heavy and sweet... as i do get "sugar headaches")

(below): yan yan, serena and i were 'murdering' the mooncakes... looks like yan yan needs to improve her knife skills (look at her poor victim, as shown in the upper right corner)... hahaha.... miki & xmas were both so cute, but they dont seem to like each other -_-"


(4 oct) hmm.. the following has nothing to do wif mid autumn fest, but i juz thot it might interest u, esp those who lov tennis... we went to 'proton malaysian open'... nikolay davydenko vs. fernando verdasco... fyi, nikolay won the match!

calvin's dealer gave him 2 tix to the match, but we duno who they are... so we juz sat there...!? the woman beside me (who has been cheering all da way) muz b thinking wat r these 2 doing here hahaha...

calvin's 26th bday

my bad... no prezzies, no surprizes... how uncreative am i? hmm... oh well calvin couldnt decide on wat he wants.. so wil probably go shopping wif him later to buy him his belated bday prezzie...



anywayz, wanted to have dinner at chillies 1u, but they do not allow bookings and they wont seat incomplete parties even if we wanted to order food for all of us including those who have not arrived... so we went to sushi zanmai instead.. they serve more delicate food and it's waaaay cheaper ^^ nice!
